A landscape of stones / Uma paisagem de pedras

This work comes from the desire to portray the stones and all the textures that cover them: Those ones that spread down the mountain, like an army of chaotic barbarians willing to tackle over the valley, or the others, the ones dominated as possible and more or less disciplined, overlapping on walls and buildings by people who have achieved the feat of making a life there... Anyway, so much poetic conversation to justify my 1000th desire to paint some rocks!

And a fabulous treatment with those rocks, Paulo! I like your non-village scenes too- looks like a wonderful place to hike.

I know a few places like this, Rob, and can´t think on a better one to hike... Missing them a lot. Maybe I'll make a few more non-village scenes.

Hello Paulo. It's nice to see somewhere a bit wilder for a change.

I agree, Keith. Maybe some few more will happen in the future :))

Uma paisagem linda e muito fresca. Pelas pedras, água e vegetação.
Bela aguarela!
