Duas casas de aldeia - Sessão 9 / Two rustic cottages - Session 9 -
Os títulos dos posts desta série são enganadores. Entre cada um deles não existe uma “sessão” propriamente dita, mas antes o conjunto de várias “micro-sessões”, muitas vezes de escasso quarto de hora ou pouco mais, que é tudo aquilo que se pode arranjar por estes dias.
Dito isto, está praticamente completo o trabalhar das belas fachadas em pedra, durante o qual comecei a sentir umas estranhas “cócegas” que mais não eram do que o súbito desejo de avançar com um trabalho dos mais pequeninos, contrariando assim a intenção expressa no anterior post desta série... Enfim, este voltar com a palavra atrás confirma de forma inequívoca a minha vocação para integrar o governo do meu país.
The titles of the posts in this series are misleading. Between each of them there is not an actual single "session", but rather the set of several "micro-sessions", often no more than some scarce fifteen minutes or so, which is all that I can get these days.
That said, the beautiful stone facades are virtually completed, a task during which I began to feel some strange "tickle" that was nothing more than the sudden desire to move into a new smaller work, contrary to the intention expressed in this serie's previous post... What shall I say? This renegation of my own word unequivocally confirms my vocation to join my country's government.

Duas casas de aldeia - sessão 8 / Two rustic cottages - Session 8
Há já algum tempo que este trabalho estava parado. Uma destas noites, tendo acabado uma aguarela das mais pequenas resolvi, em vez de começar outra, adiantá-lo um pouco mais. A verdade é que passei um bocado bastante agradável, e tenho desde então andado às voltas com ele com a ideia de o levar até ao fim sem interrupções.
This work was dormant for some time now. One of these evenings, having finished one of the smaller watercolors, I decided to give it a little advance instead of starting a new one. The truth is that I spent a quite pleasant time, so I've been around it since, with the intention to take it to the end without interruptions.

E com este chegamos ao final de 2012, ainda que com um dia de antecedência; E mesmo que o mundo não tenha acabado conforme se prometia, foi de facto um ano pouco produtivo, durante o qual trabalhei muito devagar.
Assim, e como resolução para o ano que vem, decidi que irei trabalhar ainda menos.

Duas casas de aldeia - Sessão 6 / Two rustic cottages - Session 6
Na realidade, este pode considerar-se um post atrasado, uma vez que entretanto o trabalho já avançou mais qualquer coisa, mas é certo que por estes dias o ritmo tem abrandado substancialmente, tanto nesta “frente” como na dos trabalhos mais pequeninos. Haja paciência que as coisas são mesmo assim: Num dia anda-se mais depressa, noutro mais devagar, e não raro se pára ou se resolve mudar de caminho... Não digo que seja o caso, porque nem sequer eu sei.
More than one month after this serie's previous post, you should ask: Such a long time and just this tiny advance?
To tell the truth, this can be considered a late post, since meanwhile it has advanced a bit more, but it's true that these days my work rate has been slowed down substantially, not only in this “front”, but also in the one of the smallest works. We shall be patient, that's the way things are: One day you go faster, the next you slow down, or even stop or decide to change the way... I'm not telling it is the case, because I do not even know.
