This work consists of two or three very simple things, starting with the house whose owner comes at the door with a bowl in hand with some uncertain purpose, and continuing in the narrow alley, certainly part of the artery network of some village, and that ends in a mountain road. And it's by that same alley, invaded by a cool shadow, that lurks a blue mountainous profile, one of those that acquire a particular beauty in these days when the first Summer temperatures start rehearsing... How many palaces and luxurious villas, thirty times more elaborate than this house so simple can have such a great and privileged company?
Este trabalho é composto por duas ou três coisas muito simples, a começar pela casa cuja proprietária vem à porta de bacia na mão tendo em vista uma finalidade incerta, e continuando na estreita quelha, certamente parte da rede de artérias de alguma aldeia, e que desemboca numa estrada de montanha. É por essa mesma nesga invadida por uma fresca sombra que espreita um azulado perfil montanhoso, daqueles que adquirem particular beleza nestes dias em que se ensaiam as primeiras temperaturas estivais... Quantos palácios e luxuosas vivendas, trinta vezes mais elaborados do que esta casa tão simples, podem dispor de companhia tão grandiosa e privilegiada?
