Little squares in small towns / Pequenos largos em pequenas vilas

Everything looks small in a little square in a small town ... The houses, the street, the businesses that still resist, even the people. In fact, everything just happens there a little more on our own scale, and maybe that's why the little squares of small towns, as well as other similar "littlenesses", can bring that comfortable feeling of wellbeing. Maybe actually they're not so small, it's the times we're living that stole from us the sense of proportions.

And they all have their own character as well, whereas town centres are all becoming the same.

Thank you, Rob: These small squares are so filled with small details and character that it's a pleasure to paint them :))
