Rua de Cima, nº8

Nº 8 of Rua de Cima - Upper Street - is a small and picturesque traditional house, which is noticed by the top floor in nogging with a balcony that among other things it's quite practical to dry the clothes.
The old lady who lives there opens the door intrigued: Did someone pass, rang the bell and ran away? If I, as a child, had lived on that street, that would be certainly what happened!

Paulo, that's actually me looking out the door to take in the a breath of fresh air and see the world on this bright and beautiful morning. I've already done the was and after I go in, I'll brew the cafecito and make breakfast for my little old hubby. We'll sit and talk about our plans for the day.

I love your house, it is beautiful. I see the homes you paint as places full of life and I thank you for that. Have a great week.

Gloria, if I knew it was you, I wouldn't ring the door and run... Didn't want to disturb your peaceful day in this small lovely house :)))

Thanks, Gina: This one was really a pleasure to paint, and surprisingly fast :)

Another "wish I was there" place, beautifully immortalized. Love the shadow on the white wall.

That is a nice definition, Mineke :))
