Duas vistas de Germil / Two views of Germil
Everytime I pass here, can't resist to stop for a stroll, even if a little one. In these streets and alleys, many of them refreshed by suspended grapevines, beautiful examples of the local vernacular architecture can be seen, may them be houses, corncribs or other constructions that support the hardness of life around here, which can't be guessed by the kindness of the inhabitants. In a short walking distance, a waterfall and a viewpoint can be found, as well as a few hiking trails. Some houses have been restored without destroying their caracther, being available for renting: I wouldn't mind at all to make a retreat in one of them and spend a couple of weeks here, disconnected from everything, just painting and sketching... It's something I want to do one day!

You have captured the atmosphere beautifully. Makes me want to visit this place too.... just to paint.
You wouldn't regret: Anywhere you look around, there's something to paint!
