Últimos dias / Last days
Next Saturday, another Porto's iconic establishment will be forced to close its doors due to the real estate pressure brought downtown by the tourism.
In an euphoria for the permanent state of feast and the praise of the internationa media, the city is letting go these small references that shaped its character across time and made it so special.
Meanwhile, one pretends that nothing is happening, and keep sharing timelapse videos and complimentary phrases with pretty pictures at the same speed to which are crucified those who dare to question about the long term effects of so much sugar in such a short period...
No one wants back the empty, falling down and somewhat dangerous city of a few years ago, but would it be so difficult to have what we have today without abdicating to take measures to protect what is worth to be protected?
