Duas casas de aldeia - Sessão 3 / Two rustic cottages - Session 3
Now that we are done with the vine foliage and its complex structure, it was time to start with the roof and its irregular tiles, replaced there and there by fiber cement boards. There was still some time for the stonework in the right house.

Duas casas de aldeia - Sessão 2 / Two rustic cottages - Session 2
Segunda sessão do trabalho iniciado neste post.

With the first traces defining all the drawing structure, I immediately proceeded into one of its elements in the foreground, probably the most complex: The vine that covers the street, and the iron structure that sustains it. Although this is a relatively rigorous work – and quite enjoyable, which is curious given the apparent antagonism of those two concepts – I cannot have the pretension to reproduce “scientifically” every single leaf, unless I would be using some method other than my battered sight. So far, it seems that the result of my efforts will reasonably serve the purpose.
