Se a memória não me engana, era na casa devoluta que se vê por detrás do ecoponto que funcionava uma velha pastelaria e salão de chá, com um pitoresco interior “Art Deco”. Tenho dado voltas à cabeça para me lembrar do nome, mas não há maneira de a lâmpada acender. Segundo creio, nos seus tempos áureos tinha uns croissants afamados, tempos esses que já iam visivelmente longe numa remota tarde dos anos noventa em que por lá lanchei, apreciando o envelhecido ambiente. Terá sido mesmo assim, será que estou a confundir com algum outro estabelecimento nas redondezas, ou então sonhei isto tudo?
If my memory doesn't fail, it was on the empty house behind the recycle bins that there was an old pastry and tea house, with a picturesque “Art Deco”interior. I've been trying to remember its name, but there's no way of turning a light on. I believe their croissants were famous on its glorious days, which were notoriously gone in a remote afternoon on the 90's when I had tea there, enjoying the faded atmosphere. Was it really like this, am I mistaking it for some other nearby establishment, or did I dream it all?
