The house of the rooster / A casa do galo

Looking to the roof, we can see why this house is locally known as the "house of the rooster." Apart from this feature, it's just a nice half-timbered house coated with metal sheet, one of the few still resisitng from this beautiful art of building nearly extincted. Small but sufficient for the needs, surrounded by a nice yard and the best views ... What else can a person need?

What else can a person need? Hmmm...maybe a CAFECITO. :D
Very nice painting, serene beauty. Thanks for sharing.

Se tem tabique tem qualidade...
Cumprimentos.

Gloria, a cafecito would be a must if enjoyed at the entrance of this house... Taste of heaven :))

Your paintings seem to inspire daydreams about a simpler time and life - modest but full of good things. The house of the rooster appeals very much to that imagination. I don't know if it is a real house or not, but it certainly looks like a place one would be happy to see and spend some time.

Mineke, those daydreams always come across my mind, and it's easy to include a little charming house like this... It doesn't exist in reality, but it's inpired in many that still can be seen here, although sadly abandoned in most cases.
