A small break in the afternoon quietness / Pequena quebra no silêncio da tarde

The sound of a scooter, true icon of our quiet villages, cuts for a moment the silence a hot afternoon... With such a description in addition to the title, I do not think there is much more to write about in this scene so many times repeated in so many streets. Let's just wait the good man moves away on his noisy companion of a thousand journeys and, as the silence returns, resume our own more or less idle tasks.

Yes I can hear the scooter and probably even a bark from the doggie. It's a very serene feeling. Thank you for sharing.

I love this so much. I am there. I heard the scooter. I felt the silence leave and then return. Beautiful

Thank you, Gloria and Scott: What a coincidence that you were passing by at the same time of the scooter... Perhaps you can enjoy the quietness now :)))

Melody, thanks for your words: It really a piece of a vanishing world that is getting to exist only in my memory...
P.S.-Sorry for this late reply to your comment, but for some reason, Blogger forgets to deliver some of the comments in my mailbox in its due time...
